How to play
Echo Orchard is a short, replayable browser puzzle about tuning a tiny orchard to a target night-song.
- Start the orchard and note the target: Glow 11, Drift 11, Bloom 12.
- Select one of the three seed cards.
- Tap an empty plot on the 3×3 grid.
- Watch the current harmony update and keep planting until you reach five turns.
- Read the summary, then replay if you want a cleaner tune.
Seed rules
- Lantern Apple: base +3 Glow and +1 Bloom. It gains +2 Glow on sun plots, +1 Bloom on grove plots, and +1 Bloom for each adjacent Brook Pear.
- Brook Pear: base +1 Glow and +3 Drift. It gains +2 Drift on stream plots, +1 Glow on grove plots, and +1 Glow for each adjacent Lantern Apple.
- Echo Plum: base +1 Drift and +3 Bloom. It gains +2 Bloom on shade plots, +1 Drift on grove plots, and +1 Drift for each adjacent Brook Pear.
Comfort and accessibility
- Designed for touch screens first, but it works on desktop too.
- No account, no email capture, and no personal data form.
- Optional lightweight sound cue can be muted.
- Short session length with no countdown timer pressure.
What this is not
This is not a farming simulator or music-production tool. It is a tiny systems puzzle wrapped in a cozy fiction frame.
